Land based farming of salmon is a quickly emerging part of the aquaculture industry in Norway. See highlights from the digital seminar on October 14th, hosted by Haavind and Fearnley Securities.
\r\n<\/p>\n\n\n

The market for salmon continues to be strong, with new companies and initiatives moving the aquaculture operation from sea to land.  Land based farming mitigates many of the challenges in traditional sea based farming and substantial growth is expected in the years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haavind are strong believers in the opportunities and the technological solutions for post-smolt and harvest sized fish including the solutions for waste handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partner at Haavind Ida Johnson<\/a> guided us through the legislation on land based farming, and the benefits of being well acquainted with the legal regulation. Several farmers were presented, and we also had analysis on this part of the sector from Fearnley Securities. The Minister of Fisheries & Seafood, Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen, opened the seminar, which was recorded in Haavind\u2019s offices in Oslo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
