Norway has had a proposal from a law committee on hearing ending 1 April 2017. White paper is not expected until first half 2018, with implementation mid or late 2018, depending on the EEA process.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"post-meta\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"info-small\">08 October, 2017 \u00b7 2 min. reading time<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\n<p>The Money Laundering Directive 4 (MLD4) is not yet part of the EEA-agreement, and thus Norway is under no obligation to implement the directive yet. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Norway has had a proposal from a law committee on hearing ending 1 April 2017. White paper is not expected until first half 2018, with implementation mid or late 2018, depending on the EEA process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal is based on MLD4, in particular the establishment of a Beneficial Owner register to which all Norwegian non-listed companies would have to file information as to natural persons directly or indirectly controlling or owning 25% or more of the company, or otherwise directly or indirectly exercising control over the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The information proposed to be filed is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Name<\/li><li>Country of residence<\/li><li>Date of birth<\/li><li>Citizenship<\/li><li>Basis for Beneficial Ownership<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Norwegian company must ensure that the information is accurate and current.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Money Laundering Directive 4 (MLD4) is not yet part of the EEA-agreement, and thus Norway is under no obligation to implement the directive yet. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"sector":[5],"speciality":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v24.2 (Yoast SEO v24.2) -
