Haavind has assisted Netsecurity AS with the acquisition of Data Equipment AS. Both companies are leading within IT and cyber security in Norway. As part of the transaction, the companies are to merge and will, after the merger, become one of Norway’s largest IT security companies, with more than 150 employees and with a goal to reach a total turnover of NOK 800 million in 2023 and NOK 1 billion by 2025. All the active owners of Data Equipment remain shareholders in the merged company, which will continue under the name Netsecurity AS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Closing of the transaction is expected at the end of April, subject to approval by the Norwegian Competition Authority. The merger is planned to be finally completed in the late autumn of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haavind’s core team has consisted of Kjetil Hardeng, Tone Grivi and Herman Stieng, with good assistance from the competition team, the tech team and employment team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
